About Us

With everyone jumping on the "I'm a t-shirt designer" bandwagon recently, it's hard to actually find something special among the current mass-produced,mass-worn mediocre pieces. Which is why Lillies of the Alley is so appealing.

The brainchild of Nathalie McDonnell was conceived almost four years ago and has been slowly growing ever since. After several years of passionately studying Art & Design, a BA Hons Graphics and Advertising Degree and spending time in NYC, Lillies Of The Alley was born!

It all started with friends and passers-by complimenting her customised t-shirts; Nat simply wanted to make designs that no-one else wore, and pieces she couldn't find on the high-street, bringing an element of her families Rock N' Roll, music industry background and, in short, putting it on her chest! The Ts caught the eye of a Topshop buyer, giving Nathalie the chance to showcase five of her design pieces. Working as a designer with the Lollipop boutique name at Topshop Oxford Circus. Working with Topshop/Arcadia gave Nathalie a platform for expanding her designs from t-shirts to a brand status- watch out for the hoodies, jumpers, baby-grows and much more!

Every piece is created by Lillies Of The Alley’s own studiin London. Original and oh so cool, the pieces are one-off exclusives- designed inhouse and rendered by hand, they have a much more personal feel.

Summer 2013 saw LOTA showcase selected lines instore at BANK FASHION in 50 of their nationwide stores!

LOTA has since gone on to sell with various outlets online internationally, most recently with U.S Fashion Magazine NYLON through their online store NYLONSHOP

Collections are now available to buy here online!

Nat says: "I just love creating things but I thought this could be something really special when my hero Debbie Harry of Blondie, ( the coolest woman on the planet ) wore something I had made for her. Seeing my idol in one of my own designs was amazing and definitely a dream come true..."  We stay tuned for whats next ...
